Teleworking

La conjoncture actuelle ne nous privant pas de travail, voilà un petit devoir sur le télétravail. 

Je dois dire brièvement ce que j'en pense en 150 mots environ. 

Pourriez-vous me corriger, s'il vous plaît ?

First of all, teleworking has spread in recent years in order to improve working conditions and increase productivity. In my opinion, this new way of working provides many advantages over more traditional ways.

On the one hand, we can obviously mention autonomy. Regarding schedules or working environment, teleworking is way less restrictive. Furthermore, even though teleworkers have to meet a certain production goal, they’re not daily subject to management pressure.
On the other hand, I think that telewoking brings some undeniable ecological benefits. As a matter of fact, there’s no need to take your car when you work at home. As a result, carbon emissions are significantly reduced.

However, teleworking does have its drawbacks. For example, it may be more complicated to separate work from personal life.

Finally, I think it’s relevant to emphasize that teleworking is currently mandatory for those whose work is particulary affected by exceptional containment and social distancing measures prompted by COVID-19. Hopefully, things will get better soon...

Après tout, c'est bien la direction qui exerce ladite pression tous les jours.
