Think of some famous eccentrics. What makes them unconventional?

 

 

First of all, in my opinion what makes eccentrics people are their originality and their creativity. Unlike with a conventional person, a odd person wears unusual clothes. For example, an extravagant  man wears old-fashion item, looks gothic or dress as a woman. Moreover, she has a hairstyle. Classic person has brown, blond, red or grey hair whereas quirky person has pink or red hair.

Next, I think the reason why a person is weird is because she behaves in a strange way. That is to say, she tries unconventional thinks such as dangerous experience. She often has a bizarre sense of humour and sometimes she seems a little bit arrogant.

Finally, to my mind being eccentric doesn't mean you are mad. You are just unique and different of the others.

The British are well-known for being  eccentrics contrary to the French who are more classic.

(1) Attention, eccentric est à la fois nom et adjectif. Ici il est adjectif, donc INVARIABLE.

(2) Le sujet de be est what = singulier = is.

(3) an devant un nom commençant par une voyelle ou un h aspiré.

(4) le pronom one pour éviter la répétition du nom person.

(5) La 3ème personne singulier du présent d'un verbe en -ss se fait en y ajoutant -es. Idem pour le pluriel des noms en -ss.

(6) Attention, person a les 2 genres en anglais, i.e. masculin ET féminin. Le pronom pluriel permet d'éviter la difficulté puisqu'il s'applique aux 2 genres.
