Bonjour, afin de finaliser mon mémoire de fin d'études, pourriez-vous s'il vous plaît me corriger mon abstract en anglais ?

Mon abstract en français : Dans les services d’urgences, les faits de violence sont en augmentation. Ce qui a poussé les soignants à faire grève à plusieurs reprises. Dans ce contexte, il m’a semblé intéressant d’orienter mon Travail de Fin d’Etude sur l’impact que la violence pouvait avoir sur la relation soignant-soigné. De plus, j’ai choisi ce thème car la violence, sous toutes ses formes, est un sujet qui m’a longtemps fait peur au début de ma formation. Ce mémoire a été une véritable introspection. En effet, il m’a permis grâce aux apports théoriques des auteurs, de voir les différentes formes de violences et de faire la distinction entre l’agressivité et la violence. J’ai également pu noter que la violence du soigné joue sur le soignant, au niveau des émotions, ce qui va impacter la relation et la prise en charge du patient. Dans un second temps, je me suis rendu au sein des services d’urgences dans le but d’échanger avec les soignants, notamment sur leur ressenti et leurs actions pour se protéger de cette violence. Ainsi, j’ai pu constater que les soignants sont vraiment confrontés à des situations qui ne sont pas toujours faciles à gérer mais qu’elles impactent non seulement leur relation avec le patient, mais aussi leur personne (peur, stress …).

 

Mon abstract en anglais : In the emergency unit, violence is increasing, which prompts caregivers to continuously go on strike. In this context, it seemed interesting to orientate my End-of-Study Work on the impact that violence could have on the patient-carer relationship. Moreover, I chose this theme because violence, in all its forms, is a subject that frightened me at the beginning of my studies. This dissertation was a real introspection. Indeed, it allowed me, thanks to the authors’ theoretical contributions, to see the different forms of violence and to distinguish aggressiveness from violence. I was also able to note that the patient's violence afflicts the caregiver, at the level of the emotions, which will affect the relationship and the care of the patient. Secondly, I visited the emergency services in order to discuss with the caregivers, in particular their feelings and actions to protect themselves from this violence. Thus, I have seen that caregivers are really confronted with situations that are not always easy to manage but that impact not only their relationship with the patient but also themself (fear, stress, etc..).

Je répondrai oui. Bien que je sois totalement opposé au passage préalable par le français, tu t'en sors plutôt bien.

Petite omission à rectifier : I was also able to notice that the patient's violence...
