I’m going to talk about the notion of spaces and exchanges. To begin with I would like to state a definition of spaces and exchanges. An exchange is the act of giving or receiving something in substitution for something else. In today’s modern-day world these exchanges can take several forms economic : work exchanges, exchange of goods, trading across borders, social : communication cultural : exchange of ideas, information, education, movement of people – immigration, student exchanges, gap years… The notion of spaces and exchanges can be illustrated with the exemple of Route 66. We may wonder to which spaces and exchanges does Route 66 refer to ? Route 66, often know as the Mother road was built in 1926 by Mr Avery, more than 2000 miles. The highway originally ran from Los Angeles to Chicago through California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri and Illinois. What about Route 66 in movies ? Lot of famous movie was shot along the Route 66, like bagdad Café, Cars, Little Miss Sunshine, Thelma and Louise, Easy riders and the grape of wrath. I'm going to focus on the Grapes of wrath. A poor Okies family are forced off their land. They travel the Mother Road from Oklahoma to California during the Dust Bowl, period of severe dust strom causing major ecological and agricultural damage. They immigrated to find a better enrionment and start a new life. As far as the notion of spaces and exchanges as concerned, Route 66 summarizes many points like to discover new cultures, ways of life, making a break or enriching cultural knowledge and diversifying networks. You can exchanges with orther peoples on the real life or the virtual communities and social networks. To conclude, Travel along the route 66 have an impact on yourself, it improve relation ships or help tourism grow since they have a lot of roadside attractions like the Wigwam motel. That's why a lot of people decided to make the most of it and spice up their lives. To my mind, if you want to have more global and realistic view of the true America, if you are fed up with the daily routine, you have to go on the Route 66.

We may wonder to which spaces and exchanges does Route 66 refers to. Route 66, often known as the Mother road was built in 1926 by Mr Avery, is more than 2000 miles long. << Est-ce qu'il t'arrive de te relire ? The highway originally ran from Los Angeles to Chicago through California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri and Illinois. What about Route 66 in movies? Lots of famous movies was were shot along the Route 66, like Bagdad Café, Cars, Little Miss Sunshine, Thelma and Louise, Easy riders and the Grapes of Wrath. As far as the notion of spaces and exchanges is concerned, Route 66 summarizes many points like to discover discovering new cultures, ways of life, making a break or enriching cultural knowledge and diversifying networks. You can exchanges with other peoples on the real life or the virtual communities and social networks. To conclude, Travelling along the Route 66 have has an impact on yourself, it improves relationships or helps tourism grow since they have there are a lot of roadside attractions like the Wigwam motel.
