Merci

I'm going to speak about the notion idea of progress. Progress is the action to go forward, to grow, to be better. Nowadays scientists create robots more and more sophisticated. In the beginning, scientists invented Men machine who is a robot who looks like an human being and with the time they succeed in creating machine men. This enhanced aim to help people and make their life more easier. We can ask, to what extend science is a progress.

I- Men machine

A) human like robot

First of all, we can observe that there a Men Machine.

Nowadays they are many different robots,

For instance, I robot in In Alex's Proya's film released in 2004 have the form of human being.

In addition, the robot HRP-4C was created by a team of scientists in 2009. This Japanese robot is much more like human. Indeed it looks like a real young woman with a female body and a face witch mimics of human expression

→ The 2 robots android have been designed to look like human being however, they should never ever replace human being.

b) Intelligent machines

Then We can observe that robots are more and more intelligent and sophisticated. Nowadays, some robots are able to move, do housework chores, dance. We are in 2014 and from my point of view it's just the beginning. Like we said, Rome wasn’t built in a day.

-For instance,HRP-4C represents an highly advance as it is able to move their limbs and express difference feelings. Obviously it is able to walk but not as fast as human being.

Thanks to scientific progress we will probably see more and more intelligent robots in our society.

II-Machine men

A) Enhanced human being

Secondly we can observe that there are Machine men. It refers to a creature whose powers are enhanced by computer implants and winch is therefore partly machine. This creature are called cyborg, it's a portmanteau word formed on cybernetic ans organism.

- For instance, in the bionic age, the man in the top of the poster is a cyborg. His lims are enhanced probably in order to doing extra ordinary things.

→Then, we can observate that Warwick a professor of cybernetics carry out an experiment on himself. Indeed, he grafted electrodes in his arm connected to his nervous system with a computer. He was able to control its arms by a computer. It's a break thought witch could be very useful in medicine.

Thus scientists enable people to do have a better life as this technical could help and improve the life of lots of people.

→ → All this progress seems stunning, however we can remark that for the sake of progress, more and more scientist enable to play with the mother nature.

III- where are you heading

A) To what extend sciences fiction an indication of what is to come next?

Tersely, We can ask on the advance of the science and where are we heading?

First,

I Find interesting to observe that science fiction could be an indication of what is coming next.

→ Indeed, the writter Aldous Huxley wrote in 1932 “brave a new world”. At this time, the science was almost rudimentary and less enhanced to nowadays. Indeed at this time one egg produces one embryo which produced one adult. However, the writer had imagined in his story that one egg produces 8 to 96 adults. I think that it's very interesting because, it could encourage people to carry out some experiment in order to improve the knowledge of sciences.

→ In addition, An another film “the bionic Man” made by Kevin Smit may have given idea to surgeons. Indeed, The main character had lost his legs, his arm and one eyes and progress enable him to recover a new life. This film could had given idea to surgeon and be at the roots of new progress.

B)

→ → All this progress seems very amazing yet with all this advanced should we fear problem ?

First, the progress of the sciences raised other problems and created anxiety of people.

Indeed, people dreaded might that robots might turn at some point against their creators and represent a real threat for the human race

Moreover By using androids in our societies it could reduce the social ties because human being would rely completely on artificial intelligence.

Then in the Andrew Niccol's film Gattaca realized in 1997, parent's could decided the gender of their child. In my point of view it is dangerous as this advance could encourage parents to choose the features of their child in order to create a perfect child. Furthermore, in India, the sex selection is at the roots of contrast between the number of men and women.

→, furthermore in“brave a new world” The principle of mass production at last applied to biology as it permitted to create standard, identical and unvarying people. Obviously, this progress could improve the competitiveness of industry but reduce people as machine..

C) After all, there are reasons to trust progress

However, we must admit that there are lot of reasons to trust progress. Indeed, it for example, the progress in medicine permitted to detect fatal inheritance. Indeed, diseases like cystic Fibrosis could be detected and doctors could cure them and improve people's life.

→ In addition, robot could help people in difficult situation like nuclear disaster.

For example, scientists are on the edge of creating a new robot witch could aspire radioactive particles. It's an huge progress witch could avoid and save lot of life.

In conclusion we can say that man are always looking to innovate. The progress could be at the roots of a new world with new values and hopes. However progress must be use carefully as to turn out to be devious and wrongly used. Thus the progress is necessary but must be strictly managed by the government.

I'm going to speak about the notion idea of progress. Progress is the action to go (gérondif) forward, to grow, to be better. Nowadays scientists create robots more and more sophisticated (place de l'adjectif). In the beginning, scientists invented Men machine (singulier ? pluriel ?) who is a robot who looks like an human being and with the time they succeed (temps) in creating machine men. This enhanced aim to help people and make their life more easier. We can ask, (se demander = to wonder) to what extend science is a progress.

I- Men machine (voir plus haut)

A) human like robot (singuier ou pluriel ?)

First of all, we can observe that there (verbe ?) a Men Machine.(singuier ou pluriel ?)

Nowadays they are many different robots,

For instance, I robot in In (???) Alex's Proya's film released in 2004 have (accord ?) the form of human being (singulier ou pluriel ?).

In addition, the robot HRP-4C was created by a team of scientists in 2009. This Japanese robot is much more like (déterminant ?) human. Indeed it looks like a real young woman with a female body and a face witch mimics of human expression

→ The 2 robots android (place de l'adjectif ?) have been designed to look like human being however, they should never ever replace human being .

b) Intelligent machines

Then We can observe that robots are more and more intelligent (is that so?) and sophisticated.

Obviously it is able to walk but not as fast as (déterminant ?) human being.

Thanks to scientific progress we will probably see more and more intelligent robots in our society.

II-Machine men

A) Enhanced human being (voir plus haut)

Secondly we can observe that there are Machine men. It (singulier ou pluriel ?) refers to a creature whose powers are enhanced by computer implants and winch is therefore partly machine. This creature are (singulier ou pluriel ?) called cyborg, it's a portmanteau word formed on cybernetic ans organism.

- For instance, in the bionic age, the man in the top of the poster (explain!) is a cyborg. His lims are enhanced probably in order to doing (le but) extra ordinary things.

→Then, we can observate that Warwick a professor of cybernetics carry out (pas de virgules, d'accords..) an experiment on himself. Indeed, he grafted electrodes in his arm connected to his nervous system with a computer. He was able to control its arms by a computer. It's a break thought witch (witch = sorcière) could be very useful in medicine.

Thus scientists enable people to do have a better life as this technical (what?) could help and improve the life of lots of people.

→ → All this progress seems stunning, however we can remark (compare les différents sens de remarquer en anglais) that for the sake of progress, more and more scientist enable to play with the mother nature.

III- where are you heading

A) To what extend sciences fiction (revois la construction de la forme interrogative) an indication of what is to come next?

Tersely, We can ask on the advance of the science and where are we (ici, les mots ne doivent pas être inversés) heading?

First, (paragraphe ?)

I Find interesting to observe that science fiction could be an indication of what is coming next.

→ Indeed, the writter Aldous Huxley wrote in 1932 (ordre des compléments) “brave a new world”. At this time, the science was almost rudimentary and less enhanced to (deuxième erreur sur le comparatif : revois-le !) nowadays. Indeed at this time one egg produces one embryo which produced (Présent ou prétérit ? La narration se fait au prétérit, en anglais) one adult. However, the writer had imagined in his story that one egg produces 8 to 96 adults. I think that it's very interesting because, it could encourage people to carry out some experiment in order to improve the knowledge of sciences (améliorer la connaissance des sciences... Que veux-tu dire ?) .

→ In addition, An another film “the bionic Man” made by Kevin Smit may have given idea to surgeons. Indeed, The main character had lost his legs, his arm and one eyes and progress enable (accord/temps) him to recover a new life. This film could had given idea to surgeon and be at the roots of new progress.

B)

→ → All this progress seems very amazing yet with all this advanced (adjectif ? nom ???) should we fear problem ?

First, the progress of the sciences raised other problems and created anxiety of people.

Indeed, people dreaded might that robots might turn at some point against their creators and represent a real threat for the human race.

Moreover By using androids in our societies it could reduce the social ties because human being would rely completely on artificial intelligence.

In my point of view it is dangerous as this advance could encourage parents to choose the features of their child in order to create a perfect child. Furthermore, in India, the sex selection is at the roots of contrast between the number of men and women.

→, furthermore in “brave a new world”, The principle of mass production at last applied to biology as it permitted to create standard, identical and unvarying people. Obviously, this progress could improve the competitiveness of industry but reduce people as machine..

C) After all, there are reasons to trust progress

However, we must admit that there are lot of reasons to trust progress. Indeed, it (if ?) for example, the progress in medicine permitted to detect fatal inheritance. Indeed, diseases like cystic Fibrosis could be detected and doctors could cure them and improve people's life.

→ In addition, robot could help people in difficult situation like nuclear disaster.

For example, scientists are on the edge of creating a new robot witch could aspire breathe in radioactive particles. It's an huge progress witch could avoid and save lot of life.

In conclusion we can say that man are always looking to innovate. The progress could be at the roots of a new world with new values and hopes. However progress must be use carefully as to it could turn out to be devious and wrongly used. Thus the progress is necessary but must be strictly managed by the government.
