Bonjour, j'aurais un enorme besoin que quelqu'un puisse corrigé ma lettre de motivation en anglais (c'est pour un dossier tres important pour aller etudier a l'etranger, c'est au japon, mais il faut la faire en anglais...). Si le correcteur est natif anglais, c'est le pied!!! ^^ sinon, si c'est un prof, je suis certain que c'est tres bien ; et sinon, tant que vous etes sur de vous, jvous fais confiance.

voici donc mon texte:

It’s been a while that I’ve got a really huge interest for Japan and Japanese culture. I started very young with just reading Manga (Japanese comics). Then, I’ve become more interested and watched a lot of documentaries about the country and so I learned more about the country, its people and its culture. I finally went there this summer, in Toyohashi, for a 2 weeks holyday, and it was the best time of my life. These holydays were a perfect way for me to really see, by myself, how the country I’ve dreamt about for a long time was like. Actually, I felt better there than in my home, and I didn’t want to go back to France.

Now my goal is to spend 1 year there, and try to integrate the people the best I can. I want to go there, and try to live exactly as Japanese students live. I also want to integrate clubs, such as music (maybe become part of a band), art (I really would love to practise calligraphy), sport, and so establish a real contact with the Japanese people. Doing this, I’ll learn easier the language, and I hope to become very fluent in speaking Japanese. I even think that to be present in the Japanese University’s life is a good way to represent Orléans’ University. I also wish to have time enough to visit a lot of places, and so notice different cultures, depending on district of Japan.

About myself, I think I can be really effusive, sympathetic and funny to spend time with. So I hope to make a lot of contact there, and don’t lose them later. I’m more than motivate to go there, and learn the language in a Japanese university, I’m ready to live one year there, and ready to be surrounded by this specific culture.

What I expect from this adventure, is to bring me a real idea, of what is Japan, who the Japanese people are, and of course, I expect a lot for my studies, for my languages skills, and be able to easily speak with all the friends I’ll make there.

Toyohashi > 豊橋 (ça fait mieux )

Pour toutes les phrases concernant les vacances, je ne sait pas si on utilise le singulier ou le pluriel, donc à confirmer

Si tu veux dire "chez moi" > at home

Seules les années s'écrivent en chiffres (m'écrit-on souvent en rouge sur mes copies lol) > one year (donc two weeks aussi précédemment)

live > life ?

I think that to be present > I think that being present

a lot of contact > a lot of contacts

Petite impression qu'il y a beaucoup trop de there

Si tu les remplaces par des localisation à differents degrés ça va aller (Japon, Honshu ...)

Pour ce qui est de Chihiro ( 千尋　), j'aurais pu douter te sachant étudiant en japonais, mais comme j'ai l'affiche en question juste au dessus de ma tête, je n'ai aucun doute sur la graphie du nom .

Chihiro veut d'ailleurs dire "mille baisers" si j'ai bien suivi le film, puis quand Yubaba transforme sa signature, elle enlève hiro ( 尋 ) pour laisser Chi ( 千 ) qui tout seul, se prononce Sen (mille) .

Donc, n'ayant aucune origine étrangère, le nom s'écrit bien en kanji .

Edit : ah, je vois que tu as corrigé par toi-même, je laisse la petite explication pour les interessés

ha, merci beaucoup pour ces corrections! mais je ne comprend pas le "live : life"...c'est pour "students live"? car je veux bien dire "comme vivent les étudiants".

pour chihiro, c ke en fait, je n'avais aucun souvenir du nom en kanji, alors je pensais ke pour tromper, ils avaient profité de la legere ressemblance entre "sen" et "chi" (千 et チ), et donc avaient ecrit le nom en katakana, pas pour raison d'un nom etranger, mais juste pour faire tape a l'oeuil dans le titre...mais en fait, je pense que ce film est celui ke j'aime le moins de tous les ghibli de miyazaki...mon préféré etant Umi ga kikoeru　海が聴こえる(聞:ce kanji est normalement celui de kiku (kikoeru) mais j'aime celui la:聴 qui est plutot utilisé, par exemple, par les medecin, ki vous osculte, et ECOUTENT votre coeur ;;...ou bien j'aime assez neko no ongaeshi　猫の恩返し.

mais la n'est pas le sujet...si quelqu'un d'autre trouve des erreurs, merci de m'en faire part!!!! ^^
