Je vous serais reconnaissante de me corriger et n'hésitez pas à me faire part de vos critiques. J'ai beaucoup de mal, à part 'There is/are' et 'we can see', il me semble que mon travail manque d'une expression. Fiona. This document is an advertisement. There are neither dates, nor name of an extract from a newspaper or magazine. It's an advertisement for a dessert, more exactly for layers of rich and creamy chocolate frosting. Thera are a package in cardboard and the other one is in form of can. Its general layout is a dayly scene, a scene with a child and one of her parents. They seems to play. The image of family life prjected on this advert is a nice moment between a father and his daughter around a table. They taste a good cake. The atmosphere is relaxed and peaceful. At the first quick look over the photo doesn't be frighten. The image of the African American father is put the reader and the little girl at rest. It reasures her. We don't know where the scene takes place. Probably in the morning or in the afternoon (at the tea time) because there is daylight outside through the window. The scene without much doubt occurs in the little girl's bedroom or a place where she plays. It obviously appears because the room is full of toys and the table is very small for his father. We suppose that the little girl invites her father at her table. She lays the table with her tea-set for three people, for her, her father and her doll. We notice the other elements of doll's tea-set on the table (a teaspot for ewample). Every guest has his part of cakes In the top right-hand corner shelves are beind the father and a rag doll sits into them. In the top left-hand corner a blackboard is placed behind the girl. Letters or figures written with chalk are seen. In the background ther is a window. We can guess there is a garden because we see a tree outside. In the bottom right-hand corner two packages of the producte are photographed bellow a doll. In the bottom left-hand corner a commercial is written with the logo of the brand. The logo represents a rec teaspoon and ilt' called 'Betty crocker'. In the foreground (in the middle?) the cramy cake is well visible on the yellow table. The little girl is seated next to her father on the left-hand side. She looks at him and he smiles on her. The main target are the parents and the chidren who should share a good moment around a cramy cake. There is a caption 'Life is sweet', it's a pun. 'Sweet' is an dajective which especially used to mean that something is pleasant to taste. Around this creamy cake the life of the family becomes sweet or pleasant or nice. I find that this advertisement is successful because it shows a tenderness and tranquility family scene. The mothers will be happy to see this advert where the men play with a child. It's really a success because we often see a mother and a daughter on an advert.

This document is an advertisement. There are neither dates, nor name of an extract from a newspaper or magazine. It's an advertisement for a dessert, more exactly for layers of rich and creamy chocolate frosting. There are a <package in> cardboard packet <box> and <the other one is in form of> a can. Ou bien : We can see a cardboard packet and a can in the bottom right corner of the picture. - « Every guest has their parts of cake » nécessite une explication. Have a nice weekend.

Merci. Fiona.
